From Day to Night Style on the Go

If you are like me then your day consists of trying to fit one more task into an already jam packed day. Between getting the kids where they need to be on time, shuffling back and forth to work, and trying to find time to have a relationship with my husband the last thing I want to worry about is transitioning an outfit from day to night in order to avoid being late. I want to be able to leave work and head out for a night on the town without missing a beat. The key to taking your outfit from day to night is all about the art of the accessory. A simple accessory swap can completely change the vibe of your ensemble. For the outfit featured below, there are two options to move the outfit from day to night. The most noticeable way to transition the outfit is to remove the jacket and swap the necklace. The top underneath peplum inspired jacket is actually a bustierre from White House Black Market. While it may not be office appropriate, it definitely takes date night to an entirely different level. I paired the outfit with a simple necklace for day, but if you want to be bold for evening, add a statement necklace .

Taking your Style From Day to Night

Another option for adding pizzazz to your outfit when going from day to night is to rock a stylish pump. In the office you need a more subdued option like a simple black pump. However, when it comes time to hit the dance floor pair that office outfit with a jeweled pump for added flair. When you are moving from day to night simplicity is the key to style success. Find ways that alter your look with minimal effort These options include removing a jacket to reveal a separate top, or changing your accessories from simple to bold. Altering your outfit is about shifting your focus from one area to another. It is not necessary to change your look entirely in order to move from one event to another. Life is complicated enough, managing your style doesn’t need to be.
